If you love idyll and peace, Podkoren is the right choice for you. Nevertheless, it is only a 20-minute walk to the center of Kranjska Gora and a 40-minute walk to the Planica Nordic Center.

Despite its calmness, Podkoren can also be very entertaining, because every year it hosts one of the most famous festivities in Upper Sava and the meeting of the “Parkels” of the three lands. In addition Podkoren also hosts the World Cup in Alpine skiing and just a little further on in the valley under Poncami, the world championship in ski flights takes place at the end of March.

Perfect location for hiking
A big, nicely furnished house. It is really close to lots of hiking trails. Very well-equipped, there's a dishwasher and a washing machine, too. However, I missed a coffee-maker.
